1. Pollution in the sea
I know people don't realize that when they throw their trash into the sea it harms in animal. Wrappers get stuck in sea animals feet, and some trash chokes the animals neck.
2. Banned things from the government
The government banned books from schools that they believe support things that are violent or support things not meant for children yet they don't ban the discussion of assassination in social studies classes.
3. Rape
People get abused and used for pleasure and it is disgusting. Many women get raped or used by men that only use the women for money. It is illegal and very wrong.
4. Anorexia
People starve themselves to look as skinny as some models on t.v. or magazines. Some are very insecure about the way they look and they choose to not anything in order for them to look "skinny."
5. Poverty
Everyday someone loses money or gets into debt and they lose the confidence to get back up. They live in small apartments or homes or even the streets and they cant provide for themselves.
I would want to learn about many of these issues, but one that speaks close to my heart is rape. Rape is a terrible thing that occurs in our world and I wish it didn't happen. It must be stopped in order for women to feel safe to walk alone at night or even in the day. Rape is not an issue to joke about, it is very serious and depressing that it still occurs today even to little children.
