It helps communicate about anything that is needed, just as long as its engaging for the audience intended for it. They can come in a variety of formats, layout, and orientation. One of the main "rules" that is talked about most often for info-graphics is to show, not tell. Showing the information provides visualization rather than just a paragraph about a certain subject. Info-graphics include bar graphs, statistics, color, and creativity. They can also include pie charts and just about any kind of diagram that needs to be shown to get something across to a specific group of people or subjects. Info-graphics help convey a message without a whole ton of words. Just one picture can explain the meaning or the purpose of the info-graph. Info-graphics, especially those that use data to tell a story, offer a unique experience: They invite readers to explore that data and draw their own conclusions. Info-graphics can be used to help me with my assignments by displaying important statistical information or data in a way that shows emotion to the audience. It will help me persuade others to take a certain action or role.
